Bank Verification Letter

When requesting for payment for the first time, you must attach a letter from the bank confirming that the account to which you want payment belongs to the person, organisation or project that has been awarded the grant. This letter is also known as the Bank Verification Letter.

If you have verified your account before, but you want the instalment to be paid to another account, you need to upload a new letter from the bank.

Bank Verification Letter

Bank Verification Letter must be issued by the grant recipient’s bank. It must contain the following information:

The recipient’s complete name, address, person/organization number
The bank’s name, address and organization number
Bank account:
- Bank in Denmark: Registration and account number instead of IBAN
- Bank on the Faroe Islands: Registration and account number OR bank account in IBAN format and BIC/SWIFT code
- Bank in Greenland: Bank account in IBAN format and BIC/SWIFT code
- Bank elsewhere in Europe: Bank account in IBAN format and BIC/SWIFT code
- Bank outside Europe: BIC/SWIFT and/or clearing code and other information the Fund/Danish bank needs to process a payment to your bank

Signature or stamp of the bank
The letter must be written in English or Scandinavian and submitted in PDF format
