A Sami art collaboration that will create and disseminate traditional Sami art and crafts across national borders.
The aim of The Vuogas Way 1: Sániidkeahtta hallat / Speaking without words is to create and communicate Sámi art in new forms and contexts through collaboration across national borders in Sápmi/North, inspired by Áillohaš worldview and art universe.
The project facilitates collaboration between Sami artists from the Norwegian, Swedish and Finnish sides of the Sapmi, while strengthening and further developing Sami cultural heritage.
