Three performing arts productions each challenge the boundaries between the local and the global in their own way.
Three performing arts productions each challenge the boundaries between the local and the global in their own way. They are based on the view that our Nordic identity, geography, and demography give us several blind spots that can only be challenged if we invite the world onto the stage and into the artistic process. This will be achieved through a number of meetings and collaborations, which will be established and developed throughout the development of the productions.
The three productions are “Berries of Wrath”, “The Village” and “Natura Obscura”. The Global interactions project is a collaboration between Fix+Foxy (DK), Aljoscha Begrich (DE), Espoo Theatre/Jussi Sorjanen (FI), Samiske Nasjonalteatret/Sámi Našunálateáhter Beaivváš (NO) and Projecte Ingenu (ES).
fix+foxy has produced original work for almost two decades. Their work is driven by curiosity and a desire to create complex narratives through playful, entertaining and easily accessible formats while challenging our prejudices and our presumptions about ourselves and the world around.
