The International Federation of Arts Councils and Culture Agencies (IFACCA) and the Nordic Culture Fund have commenced a three-year partnership project (2024-26) within the framework of Globus.
IFACCA is the global network of arts councils, ministries of culture and government agencies promoting arts and culture, with member institutions representing over 70 countries.
The Nordic Culture Fund is an associate member of the network.
The International Federation of Arts Councils and Culture Agencies (IFACCA) and the Nordic Culture Fund have commenced a three-year partnership project (2024-26) within the framework of Globus. The partnership involves a 24-month learning and exchange programme for representatives of public agencies in arts and culture in the Global South. The focus is on capacity building, networking and knowledge sharing.
The partnership builds on a co-operation initiative from 2023 between the parties which developed a network of participants from the Global South at the 9th World Summit on Arts and Culture in Stockholm. The initiative highlighted the importance of building bridges and peer networks among younger generation of cultural leaders and policy experts across regions on a global level.
IFACCA’s World Summit on Arts and Culture is an international forum in which issues of public support for the arts, culture and creativity are discussed.
Summits are generally held triennially and delivered in partnership with one of IFACCA’s National Members.
In 2023 the Summit took place in Stockholm, Sweden.
The next, 10th World Summit on Arts and Culture will take place in Seoul, Republic of Korea on 27–30 May 2025.
The Fellowship programme creates an environment of international peer-to-peer exchange by bringing together 21 mid-career and senior representatives from IFACCA’s 11 National Member institutions.

For the Fund, the project contributes to strengthening the scope of the official Nordic co-operation and to anchor culture and cultural policy in the global political dialogue.
