Øresundsakademiet is a platform institution for art education and networking catering to artists who actively work in the Nordic countries. In the future, the platform aims to create a bridge for artistic activities and networks that serve new opportunities for artists to connect and collaborate in the contemporary Nordic art world. Opstart will support the first editions of Øresundsakademiet that will be arranged in Germany, Finland, Denmark and Sweden during the project period.
Bridging Borders will gather together several central cultural and societal actors to discuss and develop forms of collaboration in the Nordic Barents region. The Opstart Funding supports the project to research and develop the concept further.
Zoom 2020 is a pilot project that creates a digital poetry festival. It aims to comprehend how the outbreak of COVID-19 has affected poetry both in the Nordic region and internationally. The project asks how poetry can contribute to finding solutions in global challenges.
The project aims to create and establish a trans-disciplinary network that focuses on comprehending development and changes in contemporary Anthropocene. During the project period, the project will be actualised through meetings and workshops across the Nordic region and Balticum.
“Arctic Art Forum” will be organised for the fourth time in October – December 2020 with a theme “Ecosystems of the Invisible”. The project will contribute to learning more about sustainability and to create social links which can last after the forum. It connects the Arctic region to global cultural and societal phenomena.
