Norwegian-based collective Tenthaus are working an 18-month project with main partners Studio150 from Bangkok, PACK/Space413 from Seoul, GUDSKUL from Jakarta, with numerous partners in Bangkok, Seoul, Jakarta and Singapore.
The Oven is a collaborative workspace generated by a gathering methodology. A shared sense of urgency drives the collaboration, pooling knowledge and resources from experiences in very different contexts. The aim is to explore the lasting impact of gatherings and their effects on global cultural ecosystems through five distinct projects.
In 2023 Tenthaus curated the 12th Nordic Biennial of Contemporary Art, MOMENTUM 12: Together as to gather, in Moss (NO). With the support from Globus Opstart and Globus Call, a discursive program with contributions from international collaborators was organised, laying the foundations for the relationships with the partners for this project.
The Oven is an umbrella of five projects: curatorial, publishing, book fair and Gudhaus.
Project Manager: Tenthaus (NO).
Partners: Studio150 (TH), PACK SYSTEMS – South Korea (KR), GUDSKUL (ID).
